Simon graduated from La Trobe University and has over 10 years experience in the industry. Throughout his professional career, Simon has worked in the public health sector, both in Australia and the United Kingdom, gaining experience in orthopaedic rehabilitation, musculoskeletal and emergency physiotherapy.
Over the past 6 years Simon has divided his work between a busy sports physiotherapy clinic as well as the Pelvic Strength Physiotherapy Clinic. He has established a strong network of referrers and a trusted team of specialist health professionals to help him achieve the best outcome for his patients.
Simon has a passion for treating musculoskeletal conditions both in the sporting and anti/postnatal patient population. Outside of physiotherapy, Simon loves the outdoors and is always seeking local adventures with his wife and young children. He is an avid sports fan and keeps himself active through surfing, swimming and running.

Core Strength
Problems with core strength are very common, especially with underlying chronic musculoskeletal issues like low back pain or poor posture. Also, muscle imbalances can develop during pregnancy and the postnatal period, leading to issues with core strength.

Shoulder Pain
Did you know that;
- Bursitis shown on ultrasound is a very common finding, even in people without shoulder pain!
- Physiotherapy, including; exercise and education has been shown to be as effective or even superior in some cases to surgery and injections.
- Some shoulder pain may not be coming from your shoulder, instead the source is your neck!
- To get a better nights sleep, sometimes all the physiotherapist has to do his advice the best position for the shoulder to be in
