With over 15 years of experience as a registered Nurse and Midwife, Amy has spent much of her career at Victoria’s largest hospital for women and babies. Now serving as a Maternal and Child Health Nurse, she supports families from birth through the early childhood years.
In 2024, Amy further expanded her expertise by becoming an Endorsed Midwife, providing her the ability to prescribe medications, order pathology tests, and provide Medicare-rebated pregnancy, postnatal, and lactation care for up to 6 weeks and 6 days after birth. She also offers bulk-billed telehealth support following an initial consultation, ensuring accessible care during this same time period.
Amy hosts Calmbirth® childbirth education courses and prenatal breastfeeding education classes locally. Amy values continuity of care during pregnancy, birth, postnatal period and early parenthood, evidence-based practice and empowering education for informing choice.
Amy enjoys slow family days with her husband and two young daughters, exercising, and coffee catch-ups with girlfriends.
